Second Annual Family Fitness Day A Success!
The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation's second annual Family Fitness Day, On the Run, was a tremendous success, raising over $20,000 for the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Held September 17 at Earl Bales Park, participants enjoyed a 5km trail run and nature walk, nutritious breakfast, children's activities including Sportball, bouncy castles, face painting and balloon artists, as well as massages, stretching and nutritional advice from trained professionals at SHAPE Health and Wellness Centre. The day's event also included a raffle filled with exciting prizes.
Contributing to the event's success was the outstanding committee and event sponsors, along with many others, who came out and ran in support of the Department of Pediatric Medicine at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
