A Day Of Family Fun With Shaare Zedek

Shaare Zedek's 4th Annual Family Fitness Day, On the Run, took place Sunday September 21, 2008 in support of the new Wilf Children's Hospital at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

The event, held at Sunnybrook Park's Sports Pavilion, featured fun and entertainment for the whole family, including:

  • 5km trail run/ guided nature walk
  • picnic of healthy snacks
  • registration gift
  • Doo Doo the Clown
  • Toronto Climbing Academy climbing wall
  • Spirit Entertainment DJ's
  • Sportball
  • massage and stretching from SHAPE Health and Wellness Centre
  • amazing raffle and auction prizes
  • and so much more!

    The contribution of the committee, led by co-chairs Chaim Bell and Michael Mills, along with event participants, sponsors and donors helped make this day a financial success, netting over $30,000.
