9th Annual Day On the Slopes
The 9th Annual Ski Day is in the books and a beautiful day it was.
Mitch Green and Philip Black presented this message to their team of volunteers and committee members following the event. "We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to each of you for helping to make On the Slopes, 2006 a success. This event is a truly unique combination of philanthropy, comraderie and spirit - it was great to see that in action.
To the veterans of the committee - thanks for executing on plan. Today went off without a hitch and it showed. To the newcomers - thanks for reaching out on behalf of Shaare Zedek. New faces and new sponsors are the foundation for continued advancement of the hospital."
Jonathan Solursh, Chair of New Leadership echoed their remarks by thanking everyone who participated. "This event," he stated, "has raised about $250,000 over the past nine years and it continues to encourage awareness and a consistent long-term message that allows us to raise significant funds through different fundraising vehicles."
