10th Anniversary Ski Day A Great Success!

On the Slopes, The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation New Leadership Division annual ski day was once again a great success. Proceeds from this event, held February 22, 2007 at Alpine Ski Club, went towards the modernization of the Department of Pediatric Medicine at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

This year marked the 10th anniversary of On the Slopes. An event of this magnitude could not happen without the committee led by co-chairs Mitch Green and David Wasserman, platinum and gold sponsors BMO Financial Group and Fabricland, in conjunction with 25 additional sponsors, as well as all skiers and event donors.

"I am proud to support Shaare Zedek and all their fundraising events throughout the year. Shaare Zedek Medical Center is a magical place that conducts first class research that has saved the lives of many," said Linda Sone, an On the Slopes committee member since the event's inception 10 years ago.

Participants enjoyed a wonderful day including terrific ski trails, breakfast, lunch and snacks, ski and snowboard lessons, ski races, silent auction and raffle prizes, as well as a gift bag.
