Inaugural Shaare Zedek And State Of Israel Bonds Joint Ski Day A Great Success!

The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation and State of Israel Bonds inaugural joint ski day, On the Slopes, was a great success. Proceeds from the day, held February 20, 2008 at Alpine Ski Club, went towards the construction of the new Wilf Children's Hospital at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

An event of this stature could not happen without the hard work and dedication of the committee, led by Loren Kruger and David Wasserman, Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors BMO Financial Group, Fabricland and Firm Capital Corporation, as well as the remaining sponsors, donors and event participants.

The event included terrific ski trails, breakfast, lunch and snacks, ski and snowboard lessons, fun races, silent auction and raffle prizes and a registration gift.

This year On the Slopes generated net proceeds of approximately $40,000. On the Slopes 2008: Two great organizations...bonding together for one great event!
