Seminar for Misgav Lakashish at SZMC

Shaare Zedek Medical Center hosted 400 women from Misgav Lakashish, an organization that assists the elderly in matters of nursing, health, society and welfare, for a seminar about neurological issues facing the elderly.

Dr. Roni Eichel, the Director of Shaare Zedek’s Stroke Unit and Neurology ICU described the various warning signs and symptoms of a stroke as well as what people should do if they, or someone they see, is having a stroke. Professor Natan Bornstein, Director of the Helmsley Neurological Institute discussed a variety of cerebral issues people face as they get older. Dr. Shelley Sternberg, a psycho-geriatrician and the Head of our Memory Clinic, discussed facing issues regarding ones memory and dementia.

Together we will ensure that every women in Jerusalem has access to world class diagnostics, treatments and research.
