Harvey Solursh

Harvey Solursh's entrepreneurial drive has fueled his career over the past 40 years. Early on as a Chartered Accountant, he founded a Toronto-based firm called Solursh, Feldman and Partners and evolved it into a successful, respected organization. For over 30 years, he was a senior partner, and was responsible for growing and leading a team of like-minded professionals.

Ten years ago, Harvey moved into the role of Chief Financial Officer of a high-tech public company. The shift into this business arena exposed him to new challenges and his outlook on the future of commerce. Harvey is currently the CFO of another high-tech emerging company.

Even more important than his professional career success, is Harvey's devotion to family and community. His 30-year legacy at The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation, as past-President and Executive Board Member has been a meaningful experience for him and his entire family, who are all integrally linked to the cause. From his dedicated wife Renee, to his son Jonathan and daughter Karen, and their extended families, Harvey instilled a passion for generosity, which extends beyond fundraising. All of his children are following in his footsteps in terms of Jewish communal leadership and supporting charitable causes.

He is loyally committed to preserving Israel's future and commemorating it's past. Harvey was involved with the State of Israel Bonds for over 25 years, and has the distinction of holding the position of past President. He is also dedicated to other local and Israeli based charities.
