Jeffrey Rosenthal

Jeffrey Rosenthal is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Imperial Capital, a Toronto-based merchant bank with a strong track record for delivering exceptional returns through the leveraged acquisition and stewardship of select corporations.

Jeffrey has co-led the formation of Imperial Capital Acquisition Funds I, II and III, and the resulting acquisitions of a number of successful platform companies. He has been integrally involved in the growth of these businesses, leading or co-leading follow-on acquisitions and arranging both private and public debt and equity financings.

Jeffrey has been a member of a number of private and public corporate boards and is currently a board member at E.D. Smith & Sons Limited, a successful Canadian food manufacturer.

Jeffrey attended the Faculty of Administrative Studies at York University, obtaining his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies in 1988. He received his B.A. from the University of Toronto with majors in Commerce and Economics in 1984.

He is currently the President The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation and was the co-chair of Major Gifts for the 2005 UJA Federation Campaign.
