The perfect afternoon for Jonathan Solursh would be spent in the air, behind the controls of an aircraft. Clients, friends and business partners alike love his spontaneous attitude -- being known for offering a late afternoon flight to round out the day. But Jonathan is anything but impulsive. As in business, he exudes knowledge and poise, ensuring all around him are well cared for.

It is this self-confident attitude that has kept Jonathan optimistic throughout his career. As a Vice-President at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the Financial Advisory Service Group, he endured many demanding business situations all over the globe. Though he resides and conducts the majority of business in North America, he has been dispatched to nearly every continent and traveled as far as Africa, Asia, Europe, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

He has specialized in hands-on restructurings through various senior interim executive positions in many diverse industries. Providing strategic, crisis and short to midterm management, Jonathan's depth has allowed him to work with highly sensitive and complex affairs. He has witnessed the first-hand effects of a radically changing economy on industries from aviation, manufacturing, construction and steel to telecommunications and finance. His keen observations of growth and stagnation through his client experiences in both product and service-based industries built a multi-dimensional approach to problem solving, unlike any other.

As a natural mediator, one of Jonathan's strengths is his capacity to bring relief to crisis situations, especially where multiple stakeholders are involved. He is well respected for his unique talent in building consensus across seemingly disparate viewpoints and his ability to offer incisive guidance through understanding of finance, operations and human resources.

A selection of his recent business engagements saw him as the Chief Restructuring Officer to a tier-one auto part manufacturer and a trusted Advisor to two major Financial Institutions in Canada's largest Airline restructuring.

At the same time as Jonathan is committed to helping companies restore confidence and sustain success, he is equally dedicated to his service on the Board of Directors of The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation. As a vital contributor to the strategy, direction and fundraising efforts of this important Medical Center in Israel, Jonathan tirelessly works with young volunteers to broaden their leadership capabilities.
