As part of a cooperative effort between doctors from China and of the Center for Complementary Integrative Medicine (CICM) at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, several senior doctors and government officials from Tsinghai province in China came to Shaare Zedek to see the integration of Chinese medicine in western hospital and to learn about advancements in western medicine.

Dr. Menachem Oberbaum, Director of the Center for Complementary Integrative Medicine (CICM) showed the doctors several different departments in Shaare Zedek Medical Center along with Oz Levi, a Senior Practitioner in Chinese Medicine at Shaare Zedek.

The delegation was interested in further developing the cooperation between the medical centers in Israel and those in China and other groups are interested in coming to Israel for similar visits.
