Future Medical Technicians visit Shaare Zedek

A group of more than fifty students and staff from the medical technicians’ program at Michlelet Hadassah (Hadassah Academic College) recently visited the hospital. The tour was led by the Director of the Shaare Zedek laboratories, Ms. Nurit Algor, and provided a professional overview of the various daily roles of lab technicians.
The experience gave the students a better appreciation for the nature of the work as well as the commitment and responsibilities that come with this dynamic area of modern medicine.
The tour then broke up into groups where all seven of our individual labs were visited, providing the students with a heightened appreciation for the critical role they will play in patient care.
