Mazel tov to Miriam and her entire family on the birth of their third boy at Shaare Zedek.

When she was a young girl, Miriam helped raise funds for Shaare Zedek. Years later when she was pregnant with her first child, she came to give birth at Shaare Zedek.

She explained, “I felt like I already had a connection with Shaare Zedek so wanted to have my baby at Shaare Zedek. My second child was also born at Shaare Zedek and recently, I gave birth to my third child at Shaare Zedek. This labor involved a lot of waiting and the whole time I felt that the delivery staff was really there for me. They even offered me acupuncture which I had never tried. They kept checking on me…Suzie was the midwife who delivered my baby. She was wonderful, very professional and knowledgeable. She knew when to intervene, when to give my husband and I quiet time, I really felt that she was focused on us and making sure that we had exactly the delivery experience that we wanted. After the baby was born, she gave us both time to hold the baby. The whole experience was very calm and really special…I asked to be in Maternity Ward C, I had been there with my second child and was really happy. Everyone is very warm and caring. Nurses were constantly checking on me and monitoring me and they were all very helpful.

I would like to thank everyone in the delivery rooms and Maternity Ward C and the nursery for making this such a great experience.”
