Leah Weiss is well known around Shaare Zedek as “Rosy the Clown” but for one day she put aside her typical clown costume and suited up in full personal protective gear. “Rosy” headed on in to Shaare Zedek’s Corona Unit to put a smile on the faces of the patients being treated in isolation.

Leah summed up her experience saying, “It was great! I was accompanied throughout by Penny Ovadia, the head nurse on the Unit. And while I might have had a slightly different costume and makeup on today, I did everything I could and I’m used to doing to raise the spirits of our patients.”
