Today, Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem held the graduation ceremony for the Intern Leaders Program.

The program began in November with two days spent in the desert, followed by bi-weekly leadership training sessions. Shaare Zedek’s Intern Leaders Program was attended by 14 senior physicians from various departments. The program is the first of its kind in Israel, with the goal of supporting and teaching interns, and creating the best group of experts in the medical field. It encourages the investment in future generations learning how to lead within the medical environment.

Since completing the program, the leading physicians have been trained to educate other interns, and promote them in all hospital wards, and have created their own follow-up programs with one another.
