Two men in their twenties were injured in east Jerusalem on Friday when a brawl broke out between a group of Jewish worshippers en route to a yeshiva and Arab youths.
Magen David Adom paramedics were called to the Beit Orot yeshiva – which sits atop the Mount of Olives – and treated a 24 year old with stab wounds to his upper body and a 21 year old with bruises to his head.
They were evacuated to the capital’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center. The Jewish worshippers said they were attacked with wood planks with nails and stones, a MDA paramedic who was at the scene recalled.
