Members of our staff enjoyed hosting a group of roughly 80 students from Hadassah Academic College’s, Medical Laboratories Services program. The students were divided into smaller groups and toured the various laboratories in Shaare Zedek led by members of our staff including Ms. Rachel Azulay.

Dr. Mira Naamad, the head of the Shaare Zedek Blood Bank shared, “The students toured several laboratories. In the blood bank, they asked many questions regarding how the various blood components are used and how the hospital ensures ample supply of the different blood components especially when there is a mass casualty event. We hope that this visit provided the students with a glimpse of what it is like to work in a laboratory in a large and dynamic hospital.”
