Ms. Racheli Azulai got married when she was 40. On her wedding day, she was already envisioning her and her groom starting a family. After a year of trying to conceive, the couple turned to infertility treatments. After 7 years of treatments Racheli was losing hope. Racheli shared, “I needed many hormone injections that influenced my everyday life, my work, my social life and my time with family. After 21 treatments I decided enough is enough, if my 22nd treatment does not work, I am not trying again.” Thankfully the 22nd treatment worked and 35 weeks later Racheli gave birth to Ori and Zohar who were then cared for in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for about a month.
This week, the twins, who are now ten years old, returned to the NICU to thank the doctor who treated them.
