While driving to work, she found herself in the midst of an attack, initially mistaking it for a car accident. She vividly described the moment when she realized a terrorist was approaching with a gun. Despite being shot and feeling blood on her shirt, she remained remarkably composed, focused on alerting others to her condition and pregnancy.
