On Friday, November 10th, a helicopter touched down at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem transporting four combat soldiers who had sustained serious injuries in a tragic attack in Gaza that resulted in the loss of five lives. Our deepest and most sincere condolences to the families that have lost their loves ones during this ongoing war.
After being in Emergency Care for 68 days at Shaare Zedek, the last combat solider out of the four that arrived, was finally discharged!
B arrived with serious and severe injuries that he sustained in Gaza, resulting in the loss of one of his legs.
When B was discharged from Shaare Zedek, surrounded by our dedicated staff who played a crucial role in his recovery, he stated: “My life was saved here at Shaare Zedek and I know I will come visit after my rehabilitation. I will achieve all my goals, I’ll climb mountains and even participate in the Paralympic Games.”
He has now begin his rehabilitation journey. Aim high B, we believe in you!
We are wishing you a full and speedy recovery – Am Israel Chai!
