Introducing Prof. Nimrod Maimon, the new Director of The Internal Division at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The Internal Medicine Division specializes in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions that affect internal organs – such as heart disease, diabetes, lung disease to name a few.
Prof. Ofer Merin, Director General of Shaare Zedek congratulated Prof. Maimon’s on his position and added,
“The Internal System at Shaare Zedek is large and complex .It is defined by ongoing expansion and encompasses multiple facets of medical care in response to the continious changing needs of the people of Jerusalem and Israel.
I am optimistic that Prof. Maimon’s vast experience, knowledge, and abilities will act as an asset in strengthening our Internal Medicine Division.”
Prof. Maimon responded : “I am happy to join Shaare Zedek Medical Center, one of the largest and leading medical centers in the country. Together with the staff we will work towards further strengthening the provision of care, enhance the work environment and embrace new and increasingly innovative areas of Medical Research.”
