New York State Governor Kathy Hochul arrived at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem to offer her support to those who have been injured due to the war. Governor Hochul was accompanied by the management team of Shaare Zedek, and she had the opportunity to hear the heroic stories of our soldiers and civilians who were wounded and wanted to share their experiences. She demonstrated great support for Israel and helped boost the morale and spirits of the staff.
Additionally, she met with the Trauma Team and the departments responsible for treating the injured. She was joined by the Director General, Prof. Ofer Merin, the Hospital’s President, Prof. Jonathan Halevy, and the Director of the Trauma Unit, Dr. Alon Schwartz.
The Director General of Shaare Zedek, Prof. Ofer Merin, expressed his gratitude to the Governor for her visit and support: “The teams in all the hospitals and the entire nation of Israel have come together in unity in the face of the adversity we have experienced. I thank the Governor for her significant reinforcement and support for Israel.”
