Prof. Gabriel Izbicki, Director of Shaare Zedek’s Pulmonary Institute in Australia

Prof. Gabriel Izbicki, Director of Shaare Zedek’s Pulmonary Institute while on a short research sabbatical in Melbourne, Australia has been asked to lecture at several conferences and gatherings.

Prof. Izbicki lectured to physicians at different hospitals including: The Alfred Hospital, The St. Vincent Hospital, Monash University, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and the University in Canberra about his research about, “Lung diseases of the firefighters who worked at the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attack” and “A new outbreak of silicosis among artificial caesar stone workers in Israel.”

In addition, Prof. Izbicki has spoken in several Jewish communities about, “The ethical dilemmas in the everyday life of a physician at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.”
