The Minister of Health Uriel Boso visited Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. Together with Director General, Prof. Ofer Merin and other members of the board, they discussed the planning and construction process of setting up the new multipurpose Emergency Unit.
This new Emergency Unit will be built underground below the Helmsley Cancer Center that opened earlier this year and is expected to have an approximately 60 beds. Additionally, it will be used to ensure that hospitalized patients are protected and safe in worst case scenarios. Prof. Ofer Merin thanked Boso, “Thank you Minister for your support with this project”.
