22,000 babies are born at Shaare Zedek each year. Most families come from Jerusalem and some come from central Israel, however, Karin and Eviatar Davidian came all the way from Eilat to give birth at Shaare Zedek.

Ms. Karin Davidian grew up in Jerusalem. Although she has been living in Eilat for several years, from the time she found out she and her husband, Eviatar, were expecting, she knew she wanted to give birth at Shaare Zedek with the assistance of the experienced and compassionate staff in our medical center.

Although her friends were very surprised, Karin knew what she wanted. She said, “After I share with them my experience of giving birth here, I am sure that they will also consider coming to give birth at Shaare Zedek.”
