Patients treated in our Orthopedics Department for neck problems sometimes require physical therapy. Many of those patients do not end up following the physical therapy regimen recommended by their doctors and as a result continue to suffer from pain.

Several members of the Shaare Zedek staff had the opportunity to try out a new system developed by VRHealth which uses PC-based virtual reality consoles, body tracking sensors and software to offer patients a variety of neck and cervical-spine exercises designed for upper-body physical rehabilitation treatment. Shortly, this system will become part of the rehabilitation process at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
